#sl-underground is hosted on the rpgworlds irc server.
Those with irc clients can log in by typing
/server chat.rpgworlds.com
to connect to the server and
/join #sl-underground
to enter the room.
Those without irc clients can either download one directly from http://www.rpgworlds.com or use their Java Client to connect without installing new software.
Nickserv
Nickserv is a service of rpgworlds which allows you to claim ownership of a name. This can be useful to you in two ways. You will own the name, and you can gain automatic privileges in the room.
However, the privileges are at the sole discretion of the channel owners.
If you don't like the name you are currently using, changing said name is a matter of typing the following.
/nick newname
Replace "newname" with the nickname of your choosing.
To register your nickname, you must be actively using that name in chat. Then you need only type in the following.
/msg nickserv register password
You will want to replace "password" with a more proper password of your choosing. You will also want to make sure you can remember the password.
Roleplaying
Currently we have a message board and chat room at our disposal. No roleplaying is taking place until we can either peacefully return
or arrange for games to be played elsewhere.
More information will come regarding this matter.
Mission Statement
This room and any activities within are being held as a resort from violence found at www.shadowland.org.
As such, we are simply a group of friends within this room, and our only affiliation with that site is the fact that we met there.
We know not to bait each other into causing trouble, and as such we will not bait the users at shadowland no matter what they have done.
This room is a place of nonviolence. Let's keep it that way by not causing any elsewhere. We operators won't like it, but we will take appropriate action.
Theseus
Theseus will serve as our bar and dice bot. His current commands are as follows:
!groll <number of dice> <number of sides>
Generic dice roller
This will roll up to 10 dice. The dice may have any number of sides between 2 and 100. Honestly. Any number.
It also provides the sum of the dice.
!sroll <number of dice> <target number>
Shadowrun dice roller
This will roll up to 20 six-sided dice. It will also re-roll sixes up to 24 and calculate the number of successes gained.
!vroll <number of dice> <target number>
Worlds of Darkness dice roller
This will roll up to 20 ten-sided dice. It will calculate the number of successes gained.
